WHY WE COLLECT, USE AND RETAIN YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Ticket Partners Inc. collects personal information about individuals in order to better manage our relationship with them and to process ecommerce transactions.

Ticket Partners Inc. will only collect information that is pertinent and necessary to manage your relationship and transactions with us. We will limit the collection and use of personal information to that which is required for valid business purposes, or to comply with legislation.

Where possible, Ticket Partners Inc. will collect your information directly from you, often directly through the management of your relationship with us.

Orders

If you purchase a product or service from us, we request certain personal information from you to process and deliver the order. You must provide the following contact information: name, address, phone number, email address, and shipping address. You must also provide the following financial information: credit card number, card type, card expiration date and card security code.


We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you.


On the shopping cart check-out form, you will have the choice to opt-in to the Ticket Partners Inc. newsletter mailing list. By opting in, you are giving your permission for Ticket Partners Inc. to email you correspondence regarding our special features and promotions. If you decide to opt-in to receive the newsletter and change your mind, you can opt-out by sending an email to unsubscribe@ticketpartners.com. All opt-out requests will be processed within 2 weeks of receipt.

Leave Your Feedback

If you would like to leave any comments regarding our site or product, you can use the ‘Leave Your Feedback’ form. In order to serve you better, we require the following information to submit the form: name, title, company name, phone number and email address. If you checked off that you would like us to contact you regarding your comments, we will use this information to do so.

Register For An Account

When you register for an account we will collect personal information from you such as your name, city, province/state, phone number and e-mail address.

Sell Your Tickets

Should you wish to sell your tickets, Ticket Partners Inc. collects some personal information to contact you. We require your name, city, province/state, home phone number and e-mail address. This information will allow us to determine the appropriate way to reach you.

Uses of Information

All collected information is submitted to Ticket Partners Inc. to be kept on file. If you have chosen to receive our newsletter or made a request for a Ticket Partners Inc. representative to contact you, we will use the information provided to do so. In addition, by submitting your information to Ticket Partners Inc., you will receive promotional material. Further details on promotional material are outlined under ‘Communications from the Site’.


In addition to personal information, Ticket Partners Inc. collects certain aggregate information. If you are interested in selling tickets, we require the following information: event, event date, event city, event state, seat section, seat row, number of seats and price per ticket. This information enables us to proceed with the selling request.

COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE SITE

Promotional Material

Ticket Partners organizes several advertising campaigns each year and distributes promotional material such as e-mails and direct mail pieces. These campaigns include special offers exclusive to individuals who have submitted information to Ticket Partners Inc. and updates to notify users of new website features and promotions. By providing your information to Ticket Partners Inc., you agree to receive promotional material from us. Each promotional piece includes opt out instructions.

Newsletters

If you wish to subscribe to our newsletter(s), we will use your name and email address to send the newsletter to you. Out of respect for your privacy, we provide you a way to unsubscribe. Please see the “Choice and Opt-out” section.

Service-related Announcements

We will send you strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email.

Customer Service

Based upon the personal information you provide us, we will send you an email to confirm your username and password. We will also communicate with you in response to your inquiries, to provide the services you request, and to manage your account. Ticket Partners Inc. will obtain your consent to collect, use or disclose your personal information. The method of obtaining this consent depends on the type of personal information being collected, used or disclosed. If there is a specific need to collect, use or disclose your personal information that is considered sensitive, we will obtain your express consent to collect, use or disclose that information. Your express consent may be provided in writing, verbally or electronically. Where you voluntarily give us personal information, we will consider your consent to be implied.

Choice/Opt-out

We provide you the opportunity to ‘opt-out’ of having your personal information used for certain purposes. For example, individuals are able to choose whether or not they receive the Ticket Partners Inc. newsletter. The Ticket Partners Inc. website includes a form that users can fill out to request the Ticket Partners Inc. newsletter. The option to receive the Ticket Partners Inc. newsletter is also available on the shopping cart check-out page.


If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter and promotional communications, you may opt-out of receiving them by following the instructions included in each newsletter or communication or by emailing us at unsubscribe@ticketpartners.com. All opt out requests will be processed within two weeks of receipt.


You will be notified when your personal information is collected by any third party that is not our agent/service provider, so you can make an informed choice as to whether or not to share your information with that party. Should you decide to withdraw your consent allowing Ticket Partners Inc. to collect, use, or disclose your personal information considered reasonable to fulfil the needs of our relationship, we may not be able to continue to provide you with the programs, services or benefits offered under our promotional campaigns.

Ticket Partners Inc. will use and disclose your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy, for the purposes it was collected and for managing your relationship with us. We do not give or sell any personal information to third parties for marketing purposes unless you have given express consent for us to do so.


We may disclose your personal information within our company and to other companies or organizations that provide services on our behalf, whether upon our direction or the direction of a third party. We will only provide those companies and organizations the information required to deliver the service and will prohibit them from using that information for any other purpose. These companies and organizations with which we share your personal information are bound by appropriate agreements with Ticket Partners Inc. to secure and protect your personal information.

WE SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH THIRD PARTIES.

Agents/Service Providers

We share personal information with third parties such as shipping companies to fulfill orders and a credit card processing company to bill you for goods and services. Ticket Partners Inc. uses Moneris to process all e-commerce transactions. All information sent is sent to Moneris electronically. This information is encrypted for additional user protection. In addition, Ticket Partners Inc. uses three shipping companies for delivering orders. Personal information will either be sent to Purolator.

These companies do not retain, share, store or use personal information for any other purposes. These third parties are prohibited from using your personal information for promotional purposes.


We reserve the right to disclose your personal information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site. If Ticket Partners is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.

Log Files

As is true of most Web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.


We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We do not link this automatically-collected data to personal information.

We use the services of Google Analytics. Information gathered by Google Analytics is used to measure site traffic, visitor behavior and traffic sources. (Our third party advertising partner employs a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs), that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user's computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. We do not tie the information gathered by clear gifs to our customers' personal information.)

For example, you will not have access to files that contain information about other individuals or information that is confidential to Ticket Partners. Ticket Partners Inc. utilizes safeguards designed to protect the confidentiality and security of your personal information. Appropriate safeguards will also be used when we destroy your personal information. The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number) on our order forms, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).


We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.
